Our Learning Environment in Woodbury

Constructed in one of the most sought after neighborhoods, our Woodbury location resides on a sprawling 2-acre property. Here are just a few of the things we think make our Woodbury Learning Center special.

A welcoming building and oversized classrooms allow for a wide variety of learning opportunities.

From fun math and cool science experiments to computers and SMART boards, our exciting and challenging curriculum makes learning fun!

Two expansive playgrounds and a large indoor playroom for active play on both sunny and rainy days.

We believe learning must extend outside the classroom and into nature and the local community. Gardening, outdoor projects, biking and a variety of field trips are great ways to enrich each child’s learning experience.

All Inclusive Pricing

Stepping Stones believes all children should have the opportunity to participate in enrichment classes and activities. Our program is all-inclusive, meaning Spanish, Sign language, Learning About Nutrition through Activities (LANA), character eduction and music are included at no extra charge. For added convenience and value we also provide diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and all meals/snacks in our pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a chain/franchise?

No, Stepping Stones is not a franchise. We opened the doors to our Woodbury location in 2006 and to the families of our Blaine location in 2015. Our owner, who is very involved with the day to day operations of the company and both sites, lives locally with his wife and three children. He has had a passion for education and early childhood development his entire life and brings a unique approach to childcare by a philosophy of nurturing the whole child – meeting each kiddo where they are at emotionally, academically and socially. An all-inclusive approach ensures each student has the opportunity to participate in the many enrichment programs that are offered, while providing added value for our families. On-site chefs and fully functional commercial kitchens allow for the preparation of high quality and delicious meals.

Are your prices competitive?

View pricing for Blaine or Woodbury. You will find that Stepping Stones offers a greater value and higher quality than other centers. We price our programs as all-inclusive. Many other programs do not include Spanish, LANA, yoga, music, diapers, wipes or baby food in their pricing – and have additional fees for such features. We believe that all children at Stepping Stones should have equal access to these program features and we do not have additional fees for them. Additionally, we have on-site chefs and all of our food is wholesome & freshly prepared. To compare apples to apples, you will need to factor all prices together at other centers, then compare to our price.

Are your programs only for residents of the surrounding neighborhood?

Does Stepping Stones require immunizations?

Yes. All children are required to be currently up to date on all immunizations to protect against certain diseases. Additionally, written policy for our privately operated licensed child care center states that Stepping Stones will not accept enrollment of children who have a non-medical exemption. Please refer to Minnesota Department of Health for additional information on required immunizations.
