Quality Care from Qualified Teachers

Parents don’t let just anyone take care of their kids, and neither do we. We set a high bar for our teachers which starts with an in-person interview with the owner of the company and our site management. A combination of age-specific experience, as well as post-secondary education is considered for each available position that is being interviewed for. Our teachers must also share a common vision and philosophy of education within the childcare setting to be considered for our TEAM of talented, caring and qualified professional care providers.

Staffing qualifications and the distribution of teachers is followed at all times, per MN DHS licensing for childcare centers. We ensure that every candidate meets or exceeds the required combination of qualifying post-secondary education coursework, as well as the proper amount of qualifying hours working in the early childhood field.

Providers are required to stay up to date on curriculum and early learning education skills. To ensure this, we provide a multitude of on and off-site professional development opportunities. These trainings range from safety trainings such as pediatric CPR, basic first aid and allergen awareness and training to curriculum development, social/emotional training and cultural awareness and diversity training, among others.

When you enroll at Stepping Stones ELC, you can enjoy the peace of mind that the safety, education and quality of care provided to your family is a top priority of our entire TEAM, leading all the way up to the owner of the company.
